I'm glad to share that my first discussion paper for the Civility gUG is now live. As a Scientific Associate at Civility gUG, I had the opportunity to explore the concept of the "aggressive victim role" ("Die aggressive Opferrolle") and introduce it into the social science discourse. Guided by the Civility Theory, my paper delves into how individuals or groups perceiving themselves as victims sometimes resort to aggressive behaviors to assert power or seek retaliation.
