Adieu but no adieu, Prof. Denzin! You on a rockin' chair! However, I'd go for 'empirical grasps' or 'experiential shelves' (instead of empirical materials) when talking about depths of understanding or many shelves in lifeworld inquiry! ;)

🍄 During one of our More-Than-Human Encounters, renowned mycologist Giuliana Furci introduced us to the magical world of fungi and its importance for all life on earth. Artists sara manente and Augusto Corrieri drew parallels between performance, theater, and ecological systems, and discussed how we can decompose old paradigms. Eylül Fidan Akıncı, Ph.D. moderated the panel discussion, weaving together diverse insights and posing thought-provoking questions. The event was organized in collaboration with Kaaitheater. ▶️ Want to learn more about molds and mushrooms, about ‘mushrooming’ as a methodology, and about the more-than-human within the world of theater? I'm glad to share that my first discussion paper for the Civility gUG is now live. As a Scientific Associate at Civility gUG, I had the opportunity to explore the concept of the "aggressive victim role" ("Die aggressive Opferrolle") and introduce it into the social science discourse. Guided by the Civility Theory, my paper delves into how individuals or groups perceiving themselves as victims sometimes resort to aggressive behaviors to assert power or seek retaliation. Through engaging case studies, I hope to spark a dialogue on this topic. Read the text listed on our page under "Publikationsreihe 2024" (available in German): https://lnkd.in/ek7JT_nG
