It's not every day you get "meeting envy". In fact, today was the first time I'd experienced it when I saw a couple of our devs working on some narrative tasks complete with fantasy books, Lord of the Rings soundtrack on full blast and donuts to top it all off 🍩 That's a 10/10 meeting from the looks of things.

Working on our culture is something we put a lot of work into and this week we took some time to review how our teams feel about our progress. Also, it’s not a bad opportunity to take some photos and show off the office that we’re super proud of.

Good news everyone! Patrick Kling has joined us at Chief Rebel as an animator, it's wonderful to have you with us!   Here are some of his thoughts regarding his initial time at Chief Rebel:   ""I have come home!" That's how it feels to start working at Chief Rebel. Even though I am the new guy, I feel welcomed with warmth. The office is filled with great people, everywhere developers helping each other with creative challenges, still the environment feels calm and focused. The game and the art style are from my animator's perspective fun, stimulating, and very vibrant. I feel proud to be part of Chief Rebel."

Tis the season to play board games! The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. And with the cold weather, it's easy to find reasons to maybe stay inside. This is a great time to play board games! A lot of rebels have been bitten by the board game bug, and we play everything from Warhammer, Magic the Gathering, to One Night Werewolf and Exploding Kittens. 🍰 It's a joy working at a game studio on a regular day, but add in copious amounts of sugar and that's just a clear win! So, to celebrate the changing of the seasons, we had our very own Harvest Festival with a celebration of baked deliciousness. 🏆 After much deliberation, we found our very first Bake Off winner and it was Linda's chocolate cake that... took the... cake 😅
