It's "Feel Good Friday!" As shared with all VAULT Strategies employees this week, we thought this was beneficial and meaningful enough to share with everyone. Take a few minutes to ready on your own. 📖 "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten" by Robert Fulghum "All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sand pile at school. These are the things I learned: - Share everything. - Play fair. - Don’t hit people. - Put things back where you found them. - Clean up your own mess. - Don’t take things that aren’t yours. - Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody. - Wash your hands before you eat. - Flush. - Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. - Live a balanced life – take time everyday to play and work some. - Take a nap every afternoon. - In this world, always watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together. - Be aware of wonder. - Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that. Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup – they all die. So do we. - And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned – the biggest word of all – LOOK. Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living. Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if we all – the whole world – had cookies and milk at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess. Most importantly - no matter how old you are, when you go out in the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together."

Oh Todd Kaplan!!!! You will make me cry!!! No one has captured the Millennial struggles and choices we make, better than this spot from NFL! Kudos to you and the team. What I loved was the true consumer insight about life stages and how it changes all of us. I loved that it was done on Cherry and not on the Original Blue or PepsiCo's latest favourite the Black. Because I would still want the Pepsi to always challenge and the status quo and be the voice of youth. Loved both the spots. YouTube seems to prefer one over the other. What's your pick? This is a campaign done right. Here's the first. The next one's in the comments below #advertising #NFL #pepsi #marketing #brand

“What’s Wrong With A Cowboy Hat And Boots?”: Learning The Ropes In Wyoming When I started in mission advancement back in September, I was told by many to be sure to document my first year in the field. It would be a great way to see my own personal growth. Also it would help me to make the most of my valuable, but fading, outsider perspective. I've see so many thoughtful posts from seasoned professionals in the field everyday. And, of course, I am kept busy driving around the Cowboy State. So it has been slow going to think of something worth sharing and putting pen to paper. However, we all knows how this goes – you’ve got to start somewhere. So here I go! My Three Take-Aways From Three Months On The Job: 1. Ride For The Brand. I’ll be honest, the hardest decision to make in these past months was what western boots to get – and when. I did not want to seem like I was trying too hard to fit in, but I began to feel a little self-conscious when I was the only one in the room not wearing boots. There’s a strong sense of community here – making the effort to fit in outweighs the potential faux-pas. It’s also not just about the boots – it’s about recognizing the sense of legacy and showing a commitment to embracing and upholding those values. In other words – ride for the brand! 2. Take Pride In Your Work. I was fortunate to be able to attend the International Catholic Stewardship Conference soon after beginning in this role, and was blessed with the opportunity to hear thoughtful, experienced speakers (like Scott Bucko and Sheila McGirl, CFRE ) break down the fundamentals of development. Questions posed by Aad de Lange were insightful too, as were conversations with Sarah Newman and Benjamin Domingue, M.B.A.. A major theme that I noticed was: “people like to be on a winning team.” As I’ve started to build my network here, the question often on my mind is: “who is the team?.” In a state of this size, individuals have the opportunity to make an outsized impact on life in the state and to promoting its legacy. Likewise, I’ve quickly learned to take pride in the work of our organization ad intra and ad extra. 3. Talk Less and Say More.

As an industry we often talk about what creates a positive culture within a company. Traditions like these give you insight into what builds culture here at Champion.
At Champion, our holiday season sparkles with cherished traditions, and the New Hire Ornament presentation is a standout. Each year, we welcome our new team members who add a personal touch by presenting an ornament that reflects their unique identity or interests. This heartfelt sharing is more than a ritual; it's a celebration of our growing family. As these ornaments find their place on the Champion tree, they symbolize the diverse and rich tapestry of our team. This endearing tradition warms our hearts and brightens our festive season, year after year!
