I forgot that I hit my 4th Amaversary! That's right! On 4/20/2020, I started at AWS and began what continues to feel like an extreme roller coaster ride. There are ups and downs—really high highs and really low low moments. I could get into the depths of what I've accomplished and learned over the 4 years, but I'll keep it short. -Tons of learning but also many confirmations that my "Are Right A Lot" strength is one of my strongest superpowers when I don't let imposture syndrome get in the way. -Being vulnerable and humble allows for such powerful learning. -My time is most valuable, and I must manage it effectively. -I lead and work with a fantastic team of Solution Architects. They are CTOs to the customers they assist in developing solutions that grow their business and achieve their strategic initiatives. -I lead a passionate Security team that focuses on proactive security for our customers--enabling them and helping them protect and secure their AWS workloads. -I have a tremendous and incredible OneTeam supporting me, my team and our customers! -I love partners more than ever! They are critical to our success and the success of our customers more importantly. -I enjoy meeting and working with customers, helping them solve many of the problems I faced as an IT infrastructure leader. -Customers actually like working with us. Customers know that we will always raise the bar and deliver the most value we can, including when we show backbone and challenge them. They appreciate and many encourage it! -There is still so much to learn. I'm looking forward to and excited about what's next for me at AWS!
