Have you seen the updated USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map? In November 2023 the USDA published their revised Plant Hardiness Zones. While you may or may not see a change for your address, many parts of the country have been shifted "up" by half a zone. Grading is the sorting of fish into groups by size using a grader. It is essential especially for juvenile fish to help; 1.reduce cannibalism 2.break feeding hierarchy 3.create production group of fish around the same size. When the grader is swayed gently up and down on the water surface tiny fish swim through while the bigger fish are retained. #aquaculture #feed #conservation #grading
