Horses: Artificial Manipulation of Head and Neck Position
Riding horses in a way that does not compromise them in any way has to be one of the HARDEST things to do effectively - as indicated by signs from the horse.
Only the horse himself/herself can tell us if they are comfortable and prepared for whatever ridden work is being asked of them.
Learning how to interpret what we see, and to be pretty good at it, should really be a degree course in college, along with hands on practice and evaluation sessions, followed by internships!
As equestrians and equine professionals, it is OUR responsibility to learn how our horses work, beyond opinion and some of the heavily ingrained and widespread theory of dominance training methods.
What do you really know about the physical, mental and emotional signs that tell you whether or not your horse is flourishing or miserable under your care?
Providing clarity on the what it takes to be a good rider and custodian from the horse's perspective is the Vision and Mission of our educational platform.
Starting at $7.95/month, you can test your skills and knowledge through our evidence and research based, whole horse/whole rider educational content via webinars, blog posts, podcasts, videos, discounted courses and more.
