Brendan Dunne’s Post

The long battle for the Air Jordan logo is not quite over. The new documentary short "Jumpman" recaps one side of the fight, from the perspective of Co Rentmeester, the photographer who shot the photo for Life magazine in 1984 that Nike almost certainly copied to create the iconic silhouette of Jordan. “I cannot bounce back from it,” Rentmeester says. “I will never forget this.” Important story telling from Tom Dey. Big thank you to Lee Meltzer for connecting the dots.

It is really sad that the guy has allowed this to consume his life. That's the real loss, he'll never get back. You only have one life, find a way to move on from injustices before you are suddenly 70 and looking back at a lifetime of anger.
