Day 2 of the DATAMITE plenary meeting in Bologna 💥!
We have spent the morning of our second - and last 😞- day to review in depth the status of each Work Package (WP). So that all members of the consortium are aware of the 📈progress made so far:
🔸 WP1 DATAMITE Design, Development, and Preparation, presented by Paolo Calciati from ITI .
🔸WP2 #DataSharing Mechanisms and Data Sovereignty, presented by Vasilis Siopidis from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH).
🔸WP3 Data Governance, Quality, Security and Support Modules, presented by Jordi Arjona Aroca from ITI ( 📷 number 1).
🔸WP4 Beyond Sharing: A Business & Quality Approach to Foster the European #DataEconomy, presented by Daniela Greven from FIR an der RWTH Aachen.
🔸WP5 Integration, Demonstration, and Validation, presented by Marcin Płóciennik from PSNC Future Labs ( 📷 number 2).
🔸WP6 Outreach, Exploitation and Collaboration, presented by Antonis Sapountzis from AUSTRALO, together with the tasks leaders ( 📷 number 3, AUSTRALO with DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V.).
During the afternoon, we have reviewed the architectural view of the pilots -the core of the project (📷 number 4 and 5). DATAMITE tests the operability and success of its modular, #OpenSource, multi-domain #framework in 3 Use Cases differentiated in two key parts, how data is treated and how it is shared, leading to the 6 pilots of the project.
🌟Bonus track🌟 Between sessions, there is always time for informal conversations and... selfies ( 📷 number 6)! We are a team of 26 organisations from 11 countries. Plenary meetings are an excellent way, not only to review the work done, but also to get to know each other better!
