Before joining BCV, Noah Breslow was an engineer and repeat entrepreneur who led companies through two acquisitions and an IPO. During that time, he learned many lessons about scaling startups and leading teams. He spoke with Josh Dorsey for Builders & Buyers to discuss a few of those lessons learned, as well as the “third chapter” of embedded and decentralized finance. “For anyone starting out in fintech today, the scene has changed a lot from 10 or 15 years ago. There’s been a huge surge in funding, especially during the low-interest rates and the venture capital boom around 2021 and early 2022. New players need to critically evaluate their unique value proposition and make sure their solutions are significantly better than what’s already out there.”

Last Saturday, we celebrated summer with our BCV BBQ at the Presidio in SF. We had lawn games galore plus face painting, a mechanical bull, and some friendly competition like a watermelon-eating contest and wiffle ball home run derby.
