This is where the magic happens…. The MCR we have built in the IBC in Paris for RTE. Here we take in 82 fibre video feeds and a Madi multimode with our commentary audio from Olympic Broadcasting Services. We also manage the LiveU contribution from our crews here in Paris. We are using fibre connectivity via NEP Connect to get our signals back to RTÉ Donnybrook and this also carries our AEQ AOIP circuits and the corporate connectivity for our office here in Paris. We are also using several Haivision SRT encoder and decoders to send monitor and mutiviewer feeds between Paris and Dublin. With the Opening Ceremony for the Games tomorrow we are wishing all of Team Ireland the best of Luck for Paris 2024 #Paris2024 #Olympics
