Meet Reabetsoe Kgoedi, 33, Environmental Sustainability Technical Specialist at our Kariega plant. Rea has been with VWGA for a year. Her expertise lies in formulating strategic roadmaps for energy and decarbonisation, with the ultimate goal of helping the Kariega plant become carbon neutral by 2030. “My role and department demand strategic thinking, innovation, and collaborative efforts,” says Rea. “I contribute valuable insights and a fresh perspective, empowering us to drive forward our efforts in environmental sustainability.” To Rea, “youth” is synonymous with vibrant, limitless and bold. “Youth radiates endless energy and enthusiasm, infusing vitality into every aspect of life.
