Ever wonder how many doctors in 2023 feel burned out or depressed? Shockingly, it's 53% and 23%, respectively, as per Medscape's latest survey. Who's to blame? Paperwork, among other things: 😞Hours spent typing detailed notes after each visit. 😞Crafting comprehensive summaries for treatment plans and billing. 😞Dictating and transcribing conversations for accurate records. 😞Sorting patient-doctor discussions for accessibility. AI-generated summaries can significantly lighten the load and battle burnout, providing relief to healthcare professionals. Here's how it works: 🤖Documentation: AI streamlines visit summaries, slashing documentation time. 🤖Transcription: AI transcribes conversations, ditching manual work. 🤖Organization: It not only summarizes but organizes convos for easy access. 🤖Verification: AI's summaries are cross-checked for accuracy and trust. But are these solutions real-life ready? At Unicsoft, we've got an active project focusing on AI Summaries for Clinical Study Reports. Check our blog for insights! https://lnkd.in/epZTvtB7

An interesting investigation into the roles and impacts of survival bias, interpretable ML and post discharge services (ex. case mgmt.) on hospital readmissions by Xia et al. This isn’t new to healthcare operators. The novelty is rooted in how ML and data can support clinical operations.
