Expanding our reach to the UK, a steppingstone for global growth We are thrilled to announce the launch of Adamant Composites UK, our new affiliate company in the United Kingdom. This is a major milestone in our internationalization strategy, and we are excited to expand our reach to this key market. The UK is a global leader in aerospace and defense, and we believe that it is the perfect location for our new affiliate. We are close to our suppliers, customers, and investors, and we are looking forward to building strong partnerships in the UK. Our new affiliate will focus on manufacturing full-scale market ready CFRP LOX tanks for small launchers in collaboration with HyImpulse Technologies (through our joint venture Carbon Launch Systems). This is a key part of our mission to enhance our capabilities as an Engineering and Composites Manufacturing Powerhouse within the Aerospace, Defense and Energy supply chain, focused in the EMEA region. In the coming months, we will be introducing our core activities to the UK ecosystem and exploring commercial collaborations. We are also excited to pilot new lightweight and sustainable solutions with nanotechnologies. El Segundo: The Aerospace Capital of the World? Some say it all began when Los Angeles hosted the second-ever International Air Meet in 1910. Over the following decades, three industries took flight simultaneously in the region: film, oil, and aviation. Howard Hughes played a significant role in all three, often merging his passions. The Lockheed brothers, Donald Douglas, and Jack Northrop each contributed to this growth, which continued through World War II, with many Pacific-fighting planes originating in the LA basin. Douglas cemented El Segundo's place in aviation history by opening the first factory with a 1,700-foot-long assembly line. Today, the legacy endures with companies like Skyryse (congratulations on the new premises, by the way!), Northrop Grumman, the Los Angeles Air Force Base , The Aerospace Corporation, Boeing, and Raytheon, all involved in making aircraft, satellite, and missile components. The F/A-18 Hornet has long been primarily manufactured in the city. Mayor Drew Boyles recently referred to the city as "the most important five square miles in Southern California." It's easy to see why. Recently, I'm spending more time in El Segundo, it's clear the city is about more than just aerospace. Its complementary industries of fabrication—subtractive and additive, welding, or molding—make it ideal for deep tech and hardware. Let's not forget the booming biotech and pharma industry and the world headquarters of Mattel, Inc. So next time you land at LAX, take a look to the left—you probably never realized how important that area south of LAX is!

#RocketLab USA Inc (NASDAQ:RKLB) shares added almost 28% after the aerospace company revealed it has secured a US government contract valued at up to $515 million. In a regulatory filing, the company said through its wholly-owned subsidiary Rocket Lab National Security it would design, manufacture, deliver and operate 18 space vehicles for the customer. It said work would begin immediately with customer delivery expected in 2027.   The $515 million contract includes a base amount of $489 million and incentives and options totalling $26 million.
