Held at the Barbican Auditorium and hosted by Amazon's UK Country Manager John Boumphrey, investors and sustainability thought-leaders heard pitches from 16 incredible start-ups pioneering sustainable innovation in recycling technologies and consumer-facing products. The Demo Day and the start-up's pitches are the culmination of Amazon's Sustainability Accelerator. A bespoke 12-week equity-free programme, supported by Climate-KIC and WRAP, in which founders have navigated the challenges of starting and scaling a sustainable business and benefited from expert-led workshops, specialised mentorship, a tailored curriculum and much more.
