What would be a viable and productive goal for your 2024 fundraising efforts? How about vying to pitch in your own voice, with your priorities front and center. What would this mean? (1) Not pitching according to what others want to see or how they expect you to deliver (2) Approaching fundraising with your mission at the center and finding partners or donor matches that have a similar mission accordingly. (3) Not getting down when a pitch doesn’t come to fruition. When you are pitching according to your mission, using language that resonates with you, putting your efforts at the heart of how you prioritize, you realize soon that a “no” is really just permission to move on and find a better “yes”.
