Earlier this month at Uplift, we brought together our community of courageous leaders from the leading companies in the world. I had the opportunity to interview three of the most courageous leaders I know: Lieutenant General Caroline Miller, Brian Glaser, Ph.D., and Laura Fuentes. We heard their stories about what it takes to cultivate a culture of continuous growth and innovation, and instill sustainable performance in the face of uncertainty. Across many insights from these leaders, we learned that now in an age of artificial intelligence, we need managers with strengths in deeply human skills to drive peak performance. The five most critical skills include: 1) Coaching 2) Self-compassion 3) Problem solving 4) Strategic planning 5) Encouraging participation We’re working with our customers at the U.S. Air Force, Google, Hilton, and many more to equip leaders with the tools they need to lead effectively in an ever-evolving landscape. With their partnership, we’re transforming managers into coaches who foster new mindsets, manage emotions, and navigate complex challenges with confidence. Thank you to General Miller, Brian, and Laura for your leadership and to everyone who was able to join us in San Francisco. I am feeling energized and optimistic about the opportunity we have to drive human transformation at scale.
