These experiences have fortified my belief in the importance of embracing challenges to reach one's fullest potential. As a #systemsthinker, I've intentionally explored various facets of health to gain a comprehensive perspective. This journey has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of how diverse factors intersect to shape population health outcomes. Now, as I focus on addressing complex health-related challenges, I draw upon this multidimensional perspective. This article highlights the value of diverse experiences and perspectives in tackling pressing public health issues. Excited for the opportunities ahead, and eager to leverage my unique perspective to drive positive change. #work #gandhifellowship We supported the National Children Science Congress (NCSC) workshop organized by the Nuh district education department. Over 160 science teachers participated in the one-day workshop. The NCSC is a nationwide science communication program that began in 1993. It is open for children in the age of 10 years to 17 years. It prompts children to think of some significant societal problems, ponder over its causes and subsequently try and solve the same using the scientific process. The focal theme for the 31st NCSC in 2023 is "Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well-Being". The five sub-themes are: i. Know your ecosystem ii. Fostering health, nutrition, and well-being iii. Social and cultural practices for ecosystem and health iv. Ecosystem based approach to self-reliance v. Technological innovation. Our sustainability project is aligned with the focal theme, so we presented our project to the teachers and explained how we will support the NCSC through our current interventions.
