Love the multi-sensory approach here. The color block billboard is intriguing in and of itself, but add in that iconic McDonald's scent and the campaign is taken to the next level. Mixed reviews in the video's comment section. The only way I could think to make this even better would be if the billboard was finished with a McDonald's scented coating (rather than the scent pumped out from inside). Wandsworth council responded to public concerns it was falling down and fenced the area off. I think the creative alone would have helped to deliver Waitrose’s price drop message, but this intervention has helped garner far more press coverage.
