I don't think communications teams need to outsource building trust with their stakeholders, but this article resonated when it caught my eye in a newsletter this morning. "While there may not be an immediate impact by in-house comms teams on revenue or earnings, they do play an immense role in supporting an organization’s bottom line and helping their organizations to communicate effectively. Just as internal communications can improve staff morale, any slip-up in messaging could hurt." Shout out to all of the internal comms people out there fighting the never-ending, uphill battles and spending at least some of your time explaining what all you do.
