Configure and manage Windows Defender for Endpoint
- [Instructor] Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is a way that we can centrally manage and control Microsoft Defender from Endpoint Manager. Now, we used to just call this Intune but now Intune is part of a multi application, multi-featured type set that is going to be part of what we now call Microsoft Endpoint Manager. And I'm in the Endpoint Manager admin center. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to where it says devices. Now, I don't currently have any enrolled devices but because I'm synchronizing my active directory on premises into the Azure Active Directory at Azure it sees six devices, they're just not enrolled. So I can click on enroll devices and there's multiple different ways that we can do this. Now, I don't have a VPN tunnel between Azure and On-Premises but if I did, then I could use some of these various different ways of rolling out. But since I don't, I can do what's called automatic enrollment.…
