- [Instructor] If you're having trouble with windows, it can be helpful to know your build number. Oftentimes, bugs in the Windows 11 operating system are tied to a specific build number, and so you may be able to overcome those bugs simply by deploying a newer build. So let's take a look at how to find your build number. I'm going to begin by clicking the Start button. From there, I'll go to Settings. Next, I'll click on System, and then I'll scroll down and click on About. The About screen displays your build number. So here we can see the Windows Edition, in this case it's Windows 11 Pro. You can see the version. I'm running 23H2. And you can also see the OS build. This is your build number right here. So that's how you look up your build number in Windows 11.
