- [Instructor] If you find yourself having trouble getting Windows Update to run properly, then one of the things that you can do for now is to run the Update Troubleshooter. The reason why I say for now is because Microsoft is eventually going to remove the Update Troubleshooter from Windows, but for right now though, it's a viable tool for diagnosing and correcting various problems with Windows Update. So let's take a look at how the Update Troubleshooter works. I'm going to begin by clicking on the start button. From there, I'm going to click on Settings. Next, I'm going to click on System and then I'll scroll down and click on Troubleshoot. Now I'm going to click on other troubleshooters, and you can see that we have a Windows Update troubleshooter.
