Resetting Windows is essentially the same as reinstalling a clean copy of the operating system, and that can be useful if you're having difficulty fixing a problem, or if the machine has become compromised by malware. So let's take a look at how to reset a machine. Now, it's worth noting that before you reset a machine, you'll want to back up any applications or data that exist on that machine. So let's take a look at the reset process. I'm going to go ahead and click on the Start button. From there, I'll go to Settings.
