Using the Steps Recorder
- [Instructor] Sometimes user may call in to get help with a problem that they're having on their system. And as part of trying to troubleshoot, you ask them, "Well, what is it exactly that you are doing? Can you explain the steps to me that you are taking, you know, to help me to help you figure out what's going on with your system?" And when that happens, very often the user may struggle to be able to put into words the actual actions that they're taking on their machine. Well, the good news is that Microsoft has given us a tool to help with this process, and it's called the Steps Recorder. So to see how this works I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to click on Start. And then right up here in search I'm just going to type in Steps Recorder.
