Overview of backups in Windows 10

- [Instructor] Now I'd like to talk about some additional options on backing up Windows 10. So at the start menu I'll go to settings, update and security. Back up. And I want to look at the option at the bottom, looking for an older backup, and it talks about go to back up and restore Windows 7. This is a tool that was introduced in Windows 7, but has changed a little in Windows 10. And it's also a very good tool, so I'd like to show it to you. So I'll click on go to back up and restore Windows 7, and then I'll click on the option to set up back up. The first thing it's asking me is where I would like to save my backups, and it gives me a warning saying it could not find any drives. This is because I do not have a CD or DVD burner connected to this computer. If you do have a DVD burner connected, you probably will see that as an option. And you could put your backup there, that's fine. But because I don't have that drive, I'm going to have to put it on the network, which is fine with…
