- [Instructor] Volumes are a great way to add nice effects to the scene. We can use volumes to control settings such as fog, sky, lighting, post-processing, or shadows. Volumes can be global or local to a scene. So let's take a look at how this works. The way to create a volume is to right click in the hierarchy and then go to volume and then you can select this global volume, sky and fog, reflection, box volume, and so on and so forth. Let's create a global volume for now. So when you create a global volume, obviously it is global, as you can see right here. And if you make it local, these are the elements that you can actually do. But let's do global. And as you can see, there's nothing. If you wanted to add anything to the global volume, you add a component, find volume and then you need to add a profile.
