- Understanding what an information architect can and should be able to do means you can make the best possible use of their skills and also help them develop and feel rewarded in your organization. If you're trying to recruit an information architect, think about how you can sell the position to them by making them interested in your problem space. Think, too, about what attributes you want in a candidate and how the information architect role will fit in your organization's structure. If you're already managing an information architect, make sure you're supporting them and that you've really helped them set realistic goals. Set aside some time to sit down with that person and review their current work and goals based on what you've learned in this course. Finally, don't forget to ask your information architect what they find rewarding about the job. It could be something very different from what you expect.
