- [Instructor] Creating a parameter gives you a quick and visual way to change the characteristics of a top filter. If you decide you want to change the parameter, you can do so with no problem. You can edit the parameter and delete it. But remember that deleting it means any filters or other operations that use the parameter will no longer work. In this movie, I will show you how to change a parameter that you create. My sample file is 06_09_EditParameter, and you can find it in the chapter six folder of the exercise files collection. In this workbook, I display orders by product and I'm counting total orders. And then also over on the right, you see that I have a sales parameter control, and I can show either my top one or top two products by order count.
