Define a set

- [Instructor] When you analyze a data source, you will often find that certain values go together. For example, in the United States, you might treat a set of states as a region. So it makes sense to define a set of those values. In this movie, I will show you how to define a set, which you can use to analyze a portion of your data. My sample file is 07_05_CreateSet, and you can find it in the chapter seven folder of the exercise files collection. In this workbook, I have a single worksheet, and I have the count of sales broken down by state. And that also includes the District of Columbia, which is our national capital area, and not technically a state, but it makes sense to treat it as one in this case. I'm originally from the east coast of the United States, growing up in the state of Virginia, and we refer to the states of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, usually including the District of Columbia, as the Delmarva…
