- [Instructor] You can create many different types of visualizations in Tableau but I wanted to take a moment to show you a specific type of viz that perhaps you don't use that much. That type is called a highlight table and it uses color to display the relative proportion of values that are contributed by cells in a crosstab or in a text table. My sample file is 9905 highlight, and you can find it in the chapter nine folder of the exercise files collection. This visualization has sales broken down by region which are the row headers and then the column headers are the product category. And in the data area, I have a count of all the sales in the data set, and you can see that they range from a low of 16 sales for mineral water in north central west, up to looking for a maximum value.
