- [Instructor] When you create a visualization in Tableau it's important that you get everything looking right. A little bit of formatting can help your colleagues understand your data more effectively. In this movie, I will show you how to apply formatting to the contents of a text table. My sample file is 09_02_Format, and you can find it in the chapter nine folder of the Exercise Files collection. This workbook contains a single worksheet with a text table, and on it I have data by a sales region, and product category, and then the count of all sales within each of those categories within the named region. So starting here with Central East, fitness, mineral water, and supplements. If I want to change the formatting of the elements of this text table, then I have several ways to do it.
