- [Instructor] We're on the homepage for our Sales site. And right here at the top, we see the News web part. The News web part is here by default on every homepage when you create a new SharePoint site. We're going to go and explore this News web part a little bit more in closer detail. Now, I'll be honest, I don't care for the News web part. It sounds great. When you click the Add button, it says News post, and you're thinking, "Hey, I can post whatever I want. It's going to present it nicely," and you can, but it's really a little bit more work than it seems to be. Because when you click to add a news post, so let me click there, what it actually does is create a new page. It creates a whole new page. And you have three templates: you have the Blank template, the Visual template, and the Basic Text template. We're going to take a look at all of those. We'll start with the Blank template.
