- [Bill] When a SharePoint team site is created, let's be honest. It's pretty boring and only mildly useful. In this course, we're going to see how to customize a SharePoint site. I'll show you how to change the look by adding themes and adding images to the header, we'll discover how to create site pages and divide them into sections and, most importantly, we'll explore some of the most popular web parts in SharePoint. Web parts are the building blocks of a SharePoint page. They enhance the page by adding useful elements like image galleries, charts, and a group calendar. My name is Bill Kulterman, and I'll be your instructor. I've been working with SharePoint for a dozen years, and it's a lot of fun, so let's go ahead and let's get started.
