Publish or republish a page

We've made substantial changes to our home page, and we've made changes to the new page that we created. And before our work is done, we need to make them available to other users. The way we do that is by publishing our toolbox page, which has never been published. It's only available in draft and only to me because I haven't shared it with anybody else to look at. So to publish this page, I'm going to simply click the publish button and it is now published. And at this point, I could get help adding the page to navigation, but we already did that. I could post this as news on the site, which is kind of cool. I could share the page, copy a link to the page, send it by email, save it as a template, but I just wanted to post it as news. I clicked that link and it's done. It's already posted, so if I go to the home page of the site, I will actually find a new news story that says that the toolbox has been added and it's a link that just goes there.
