- [Instructor] When two walls touch one another they usually join automatically. And typically the joint condition that we get automatically is suitable in most cases. However, it's not always the case and there are some times when we get an unacceptable wall joint and we want to adjust it. In cases like that we have the Wall Joins tool that we can use to help us adjust the default behavior. So to demonstrate the Wall Joins tool, I'm going to zoom in over here on the right hand side of the plan, and I've got a few conditions where we can talk about this. So we're going to start with these walls here that enter into the suite. So these are masonry walls here and here and they're butting into these stud walls here. And currently it's not displaying correctly, I would want the masonry wall to continue through and interrupt the stud wall. So we're going to use the Wall Joins tool to help us do that.
