- [Instructor] If you take the time to customize the display of a view and then you realize that you have other views in your project that have similar customization needs, it can become very tedious to try to remember what all the different settings were that you configured and then manually reapply those to the other similar views. Now this can happen if you have multiple floor plans that are similar or elevations or sections, or really any similar views that have the same display needs. Well, in any of these situations this is what a view template is good for. A view template is a tool that can capture all of the visibility settings applied to a view and then you can easily reapply those settings to other similar views.
