- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to talk about snap behavior. There are two kinds of snapping that we have in Revit. We have increment snapping, and we have object snapping. And so I'd like to illustrate both of those. And both of them are similar in a function. They help you build your model with more precision without necessarily having to input exact values in order to do so. So let's start with increment snapping. Stay zoomed out for this because what I want to do is show you kind of a built in behavior that we benefit from when we're just simply drawing things like it really works with any geometry but you're really going to see it with things like walls and lines when you're drawing those. So I'm going to start the wall command and just click anywhere to start drawing the wall. And then I'm going to slowly start moving over to the side here.
