Importing a PDF

- [Instructor] So far in this chapter, we've been focused on bringing in AutoCAD files to Revit, but there are many file formats that are supported. In this video, I'd like to show you how we can bring in a PDF, which is another very popular format that's used in many industries, including architectural design. So, we're going to go to the insert tab, just like we did for CAD files, but this time, instead of doing link CAD, we're going to do link PDF. Now, you can link a PDF or you can import it. It's really up to you, but I still like link because it maintains a connection back to that PDF file. So if somebody updates the PDF, you can just simply reload it, which I think is always a valuable thing to be able to do. So you can see that I've provided a floor plan right here and I'm going to go ahead and click open and then when it starts to open this, it will preview it here.
