Hiding individual objects in a model

- [Instructor] We have many ways we can hide elements in Revit. We've only looked at some of them. So there are the temporary hide isolate tools. There is Visibility Graphics where we can hide categories. Most hiding takes place on a view by view basis, okay. Almost all methods of hiding will happen view by view. So that's important to understand and it is possible to even go down and hide individual elements at the object level. So I'm going to show you how to do that here in this video but I'm going to recommend that you do it very sparingly. Okay, so let's just jump right in and let me show you how to hide elements individually. And I'm going to do that by working in this 3D view, selecting one of these columns. And I want to hide this column in the view. There's three ways you can do it. There's a right click where you can say hide in view by element.
