Creating extrusion roofs

- [Instructor] There are lots of different forms of roof that we can create in Revit. And the ones that we've built so far, we're just using the simple Roof by Footprint tool. But if you look at the dropdown menu on the roof tool, you can see that there are some other choices. So, in this video, I'd like to do the Roof by Extrusion. Now, this is going to be a really simple sketch which is going to define the profile shape of the roof and then we're just going to give it a depth, okay? And I'm actually going to do something very similar to what you see in that illustration right there. Now, I want to build this as a canopy out in front of this little exterior doorway right here. So, I think the easiest way to draw that is going to be to work in an elevation that looks right at that wall. So, I'm going to go to the east elevation here, east architectural, and I'm going to zoom in nice and close on this brick wall here. So, now…
