Controlling line weight settings of CAD links

- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at bringing in a CAD file, but controlling the way that it comes in, specifically, its line weight settings. So, sometimes you're bringing in a CAD file that you're going to keep as part of your document set. In cases like that, then it's going to matter what it actually looks like. If you're using it just to trace over or to generate topography, then it's not as important. But in the case of bringing in diagrams, or details, or things like that, then it might matter what the line weight settings are in the file coming in. And, so that's what we want to look at here. Now, I'm in this simple file here and I'm going to bring in a construction detail. It's probably not appropriate to do that in a floor plan, so let's create a view for this purpose. So, I'm going to go to the View tab, and we're going to create a Drafting View. Now, you need to give it a Name. And then, I'm…
