- [Instructor] Architectural documentation often includes different kinds of legends, door and window legends are pretty common. In this video, I want to show you how we can create a dedicated door types legend. So to do so, we need to start on the view tab, and create a new legend view. So there's a dropdown right here for legends, and I'm going to choose this first option to create a new empty legend. It will ask me for a name, and it will suggest the scale of quarter inch equals a foot here in the imperial file, or one to 50 in metric, I'm going to accept that scale and click okay. So this gives us a blank sheet of paper that is completely empty and disconnected from the model. This is just like another kind of drafting view, except that legends have a few special features.
