Adding extensions to railings

- [Instructor] Most building codes have requirements for railings to extend past the ends of stairwells at both the top and the bottom. And so in this video, I want to show you some techniques we can use to achieve that using Revit handrails. So I'm actually going to do two different conditions. For this railing here, I want it to extend down and return back to the post. And for this railing here, I wanted to extend and return into the wall. So since I want to do two different things, I'm going to duplicate the type for each of these railings and give them separate names. So I'm going to click Edit Type on the one by the wall there and duplicate it. And I'll just add a suffix to the name there for wall extension and then I'll repeat that with this one, duplicate it.
