- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at dimensioning a floor plan. Now we're going to use the same dimension tool that we've used elsewhere throughout the course where we were editing our model. But this time we're going to be placing the dimensions more with the mind towards documentation rather than editing. So it's the same tool, but the strategies will vary slightly and I'd like to share with you a few of those now. So I'm going to zoom in over here on the right hand side of the plan and let's get started by just placing a really simple dimension in this location. So I'm going to go to the aligned dimension tool here or DI. It's also available on the Annotate tab. Look at your Options bar and make sure your settings are set to wall faces for this first dropdown and individual references for this second one. And then I want to highlight the exterior face of the top wall and the exterior face of the bottom wall…
