Adding detail components

- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to continue working on our hybrid detail. I've got my call out all set up, and now I'm going to begin adding some detail components. Now detail components are component families that just happen to be two-dimensional families instead of three-dimensional families. Now they do represent real model elements, so they are drawn to scale at the correct size, but they're only going to appear in the view that you draw them in. So we're going to start off by adding a couple that are already loaded here in this file, and then we'll load a few additional ones from the Autodesk library. So I'm going to go to the annotate tab, and the component button is a dropdown button which has three options, and it's possible that it might be set to one of the other options if you used that command last.
