- [Narrator] There are many tools in PowerPoint to help you create the kind of space you need. We've briefly mentioned using grids but I would like to dive in a bit deeper here and show you exactly how you can use PowerPoint's grids and guides, as well as some other third party tools to space out or align objects on a slide. If you'd like to follow along with this lesson, just open up the exercise file "03_04-Spacing_start" which contained these two slides. Now on the first slide we have four squares that aren't exactly centered within the slide. We're going to change that using our ruler grids and guides in PowerPoint. Now I have my ruler displayed here. If you don't see your ruler showing, go up to your View tab and in the Show Group, make sure that ruler is checked. Just click on it to display that ruler. Also underneath the ruler, go ahead and check on grid lines and make sure your guides are showing. Now with the grids…
