Merge Meshes
- [Instructor] Sometimes you may need to do some procedural modeling based on a conventionally modeled mesh. So in my item list I have this cube item which was created using the destructive cube primitive tool, and I've hidden it. And above it I have an empty mesh item. And in this empty mesh item what I'm going to do, is I'm going to create a procedural model based on the destructively modeled cube. And to do this I need to bring the cube into the procedural stack. And the way you do this is with a mesh ops called Merge Meshes. So I'm going to click on Add Operator, and I'm going to type merge in the search field, and then I'm going to double click on the Merge Meshes mesh operation. And if I click on this arrow here, I can expand merge meshes mashups. Now what I need to do is to expand the sources, click on Add Source, go to existing to see what's already in my scene, and then I'll double click on cube to add it to my stack. And that's now imported the source geometry from the other…
