Prompting on Midjourney, viewing your images and finding inspiration

- [Presenter] In the last video, we got familiar with how we could create our first text to image prompt on the newbie channel inside of Midjourney. Became familiar with using the Imagine prompt that we entered down here, not to mention our inbox, where we're able to keep track of anything that we send to the Midjourney server through mentions, and in fact, if required, any of our previous creations, we could click on to jump to. Now, there's a few other things that you should know to find out information about your images that could be helpful. One is that we can actually find out information about this specific job as well as seed number directly in the Midjourney server. The way that we do this is to click on the add reaction button right next to the actual prompt that you're interested into. And what you should find is an envelope. So if you don't find that envelope for any reason, you can type in the word envelope up here and by simply clicking on that envelope, what it's going to do is ask it for information about this specific job. You can see that it shows up here at the side in the Midjourney bot. If I click on that, here's that information about the job that I sent out, the job ID, as well as the seed number. And what's cool about this is the seed number could be used in other generations of images to keep a similar style. In addition to finding information about the prompts that you send out, don't forget everything is also stored at midjourney.com. Let's see this. So I'm back here at midjourney.com, where the last time we were here, we joined the beta and started to get to work in Discord. This time, we're going to sign in. We'll see that it pings us to a new page. We want to give access to our Discord account. In order to see this imagery and a few other things, it's going to give us email access. Our username, not to mention, it will even join servers for us. We're going to authorize that. Now that we're logged in, it should be noted that midjourney.com is one of the fastest changing areas. Very shortly, we're going to be able to enter our text prompts through a web browser and generate it directly from midjourney.com as well as Discord. Currently, I'm looking at images produced by other users randomly. I can also search here by clicking on hot. I can find out what is trending right now in the Midjourney community. If I happen to like one of these images, I can select them and explore the text prompt that was used. Not to mention parameters, which can be added to the end of a text prompt. And we're going to be exploring in detail in later movies. Once clicking on a photo, I do have the option to copy a prompt and then paste this inside of Discord. Alternatively, I can go to the options menu, copy the prompt from here and a few other things. I can even copy the image URL, which I can then combine with a text prompt or even blend with another image. And we'll also cover later in this course. When it comes to our imagery, simply head over here to the sidebar on the left and click on the image icon. You'll see all the various images that you've produced with Midjourney. If you'd like to find it in Discord, there's a handy trick. I'm going to scroll down here to an earlier date in time where I have a picture of a lion that I would like to find. Here is the prompt that I've used here and generated with version V5. But instead, I'll go to the options section and then just choose to open Discord. And this is going to open up another webpage. I can see the original prompt that this was produced in. How cool is that to find your imagery? So keep on checking back at midjourney.com. 'Cause very shortly, you're going to be able to enter text prompts there. And I'll make sure to update this course so you can see what's possible.
