- In this video, we will review and expand upon options you have when sharing links to specific files and the access permissions that you can set. Now of course, we've seen part of this before. If I wanted to share a file, I can start a new conversation, I can click the paper clip icon, and of course I could upload a file from my computer. And that's fairly straightforward. But if you share a file from OneDrive or from an existing team or channel, you get an extra option. So I'm going to choose OneDrive and navigate to the folder on my OneDrive that I want to share. And when you share an existing file from OneDrive or another team, you have the option to share a link to that file. And that lets you give your teammates access to a file that is already stored in an online location rather than uploading a duplicate copy of that file.
