Often done accidentally, view adjustments and split views should be used to control the information shown in your plan. It is much easier to make a project related decision when I can see what I need displayed in a logical way. First, I want to show you how easy it is to change Gantt chart view to another view. This program is a very advanced database, you don't have to reconfigure anything, you can just change the view. On the Task tab, you have a list under Gantt chart and let's just try a couple. How about Network Diagram view? And by the way, many views have a zoom control to change the level of detail that you're seeing. Let's do another one. How about Calendar? Perhaps you work with people that might not follow a Gantt chart view, but would be able to follow a calendar. Now, instead of this list, you might prefer a right click on these sideways words, that also works to change views. Split views are very interesting, they allow you to save time.
